The local lung cancer community is coming together for the 8th Annual Shine a Light on Lung Cancer event. Reno will join an anticipated 200 cities where Shine a Lights will be taking place in healthcare organizations for Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
 
The public is invited to join Renown Institute for Cancer for an inspiring evening to learn about early lung cancer detection, meet survivors and shine a light in honor of loved ones.
 
Free radon kits will be provided by University of Nevada Reno Cooperative Extension.
 
Music, light refreshments and appetizers included.
