For the eighth time since 2010, Renown South Meadows Medical Center was honored with HealthInsight’s Quality Award for high performance on quality-of-care outcome measures and patient satisfaction.
The HealthInsight Quality Award Program started in September 2004 to promote transparency in healthcare. To receive the award, hospitals must receive a combined score of 75 or higher when evaluated for patient outcomes, patient experience of care and clinical process of care as reported on Medicare’s Hospital Compare website. Renown South Meadows was the only hospital in Nevada to receive this honor and is among just 32 hospitals across four states awarded this recognition.
“We are honored to receive this award once again,” said Siri Nelson, CEO of Renown South Meadows. “The physicians, nurses and employees at Renown South Meadows are committed to the best care for every patient each and every day. We are proud to see our commitment to care and patient experience reflected in honors like this.”
“We at HealthInsight are excited to recognize Renown South Meadows with the Hospital Quality Award, an award the hospital has earned eight times since 2010,” said Kevin Kennedy, HealthInsight Nevada executive director. “This award celebrates the commitment of hospital leaders and staff to improving patient safety, patient experience and quality of care. This achievement requires dedication to quality, outside-the-box thinking and constant concern for the people cared for in this facility.”
